These sheets are heavenly! They are soft and warm and still fit an extra-deep mattress after going through the washer/dryer on high heat. They are priced very competitively. An excellent gift purchase. I would definitely buy them again.

After reading all the amazing reviews I had to give these a shot and I was not disappointed in the least! Right out of the bag I could tell that these were going to be very comfortable. After a quick de-wrinkling in the dryer they were good to go. They are nice and thick and the soft feel of the sheets is incredible. The thickness does not make them heavy, but luxurious. I've ordered extra sets and have given all my other sheets to Goodwill - I won't need them since I've found these! The only word of caution I would give is that the colors in the pictures are not very accurate. I have Chamois and Sage. The Chamois is a nice tan color and the Sage could be described as mint. I'd say this is a small trade off for some truly comfy sheets!

I ordered this light because it advertised that it came with "growth bulbs" (T8's florescents). This is true--but misleading, too. The "growth bulbs" are regular old florescent lights that I can buy at the local big box store (set of two) for around $7.00.

Another issue was that the product was sent to me via a long shipping route and was damaged during its time on the road. So, when I got it the shipping box was partially open and the item did not work. I contacted both Amazon and the vendor and the vendor never got back to me.

I purchased this scope for home use.
The 8 bit ADC was sufficient for my use.
Now after 6 weeks or so the front panel no longer responds to button presses.
I've tried to login and contact support but the support page keeps telling me to activate my account? How?
I'm not happy with my purchase and cannot recommend this scope to anyone else.
Oh... the 877-4-RIGOL-1 toll free number listed on the website... is disconnected or no longer in service.

Finally made contact with Rigol NA at [...]
Apparently my purchase was not through an authorized north american retailer?? and they cannot provide support? My email to sain store has so far been unanswered.

Rigol DS1052E 50 MHz Digital Oscilloscope with 2 channels plus USB storage and connectivity and 1 GSa/sec sampling
When I first started in electronics, a slide rule was necessary to give quick answers, or at least approximations. Today, a good scientific calculator is as little as $10.00. The same is true foe televisions and other electronics, including this oscilloscope. It would have cost several thousand dollars for a 50MHz storage scope not too many years ago.
The Rigol scope is amazing. Not only does it serve as a two channel 50MHz scope, but it can be controlled by a pc (software included), and all the waveform data can be stored and manipulated on the pc also. These features expand the capabilities, and make it easy and even enjoyable to use.
It has way too many features to include here. If you need a 50MHz scope, don't hesitate to buy this item.


Rigol DS1052E Review by Watchimgo

I bought this scope because I primarily needed something to look at low frequency micro controller signals and only had $500 to spend. I was hoping to "upgrade" it with the updated firmware and turn it into a 100Mhz scope, but it turns out with the latest revision of the firmware which mine came with, you can no longer do this. It's still a very good scope for the money and has served me well for the 2 months that I've had it.

Komachi AB5052 Review by R. C. Babcock

I'll preface this review by stating that I'm a chef with 20+ years spent working in pro kitchens; on top of that I'm a knife nerd. The bulk of my collection is comprised of much more expensive pieces, mostly Japanese. And even though I've got several other bread knives (including a $200 Shun Elite in SG2) this is the one I always have in my working knife case. It shares the same reverse-scallop serration common to Shun and Mac knives, and this pattern is far superior to the old-school German pattern you're probably used to. The Komachi will cut bread like a lightsaber without tearing and creating few crumbs. And unlike the old-school Germans this pattern is easily resharpened.

To address a couple of other reviews, I've had no problem with the finish flaking off. I suppose with a $20 product Q/C isn't perfect and maybe a few bad ones slipped thru, but I've used mine in a professional kitchen (and passed it around the restaurant) for well over a year with very minimal loss of finish. If it did begin to flake I'd probably just use steel wool or sandpaper and take all the finish off- it's stainless, it doesn't really need it. And my experiences with its edge retention are far better- I find I only need to touch the edge up every month or two, and that's in a pro kitchen cutting more bread in a day that a home cook does in 3 months.

I deliberated for awhile on how many stars to assign: does 5 stars out of 5 mean it's as good or better than a Mac or a Shun Elite? Hardly. I took the price into account. I can think of no bread knife as good for less than 3 times the price (and that would be the Mac). For $20 the only thing I could possibly improve upon would be the length- I wish it was 10" or 11".

One last thing- this one has been replaced by the Pure Komachi 2. I haven't seen one in person yet; it looks very similar, but just in case I plan to buy a couple more of the original model.

So, for now, I'm only giving this a 3 star because while I do like certain aspects of this stroller I got this one thinking it would be a better fit for my car. And I was wrong. It still can't get it to fit. It would be nice if the handles could be lowered or raised making it easier for people with very limited trunk space to fit it. I have a 2012 Mazda 5, and while this wouldn't be an issue so much if I only had 2 kids to fit into the car, it's a problem because I have 3 kids and need to use the 3rd row seating. The baskets are much different from the ones shown here as well. My kids do like it though. It'll just have to not live in the car if we're not expecting to go out.

We bought this stroller to take with us to Disneyland for our then 9-month-old twins since we didn't want to have to worry about our expensive stroller. It was great-it folded up small, the boys looked comfortable, the seats reclined much further than I expected, and the sun shades were larger than expected. With the low recline and the large sun shades, the boys slept just fine in the stroller. The belly bar was great for attaching toys and propping bottles on when needed. The only con is the baskets underneath, which are so small they are nearly useless. However we bought a Sunshine Kids parent console for one side and hung our backpack/diaper bag on the other and had plenty of space for our gear. Bright red color was easy to find in the sea of strollers too. We liked this stroller a lot and still use it on occasion at home.

Cradle was super easy to put together...only took maybe 20 mins. Our Baby hasnt arrived yet but I think its going to work great for us. It seems really sturdy which was our main worry since we bought online without being able to see one in person. If I had to change one thing about it it would be that it didnt come with any little wooden caps to cover the 8 screws that are visiable once its all put together. But even without those it is still a beautiful cradle and i look forward to keeping it in the family for future babies :) I would definatly reccommend this cradle~

My husband and I just fell in love with this cradle. The stain is great and although the baby isn't here yet it appears to be sturdy. I wish they had plugs to cover up the outside screw heads but it still looks beautiful. Found the mattress to be a bit thin so we intend on purchasing something with a bit more cushion and comfort to it. Otherwise we are very happy with our purchase and think it will make a great addition to our nursery.

We purchased this cradle as opposed to getting a co-sleeper or bassinet and it is really beautiful! I was so surprised at how sturdy it is and how classy it looks. The only piece that doesn't seem to be made of real wood is the bottom where you put the mattress but it wouldn't be hard to eventually have a piece of wood cut to match just to ensure that it lasts a really long time. My hope is to someday pass this piece down to my children! One other note though - we purchased an additional mattress bc of other reviews stating the one that comes with it was really thin, but the "standard" mattress size was a bit short on the top & bottom and since I wasn't able to find the dimensions of the mattress portion of the cradle on the description for it when I purchased it I just had to hope that it would fit... so I'm not sure if they actually sell additional mattresses that fit as snug as the one that comes with the cradle. Other than that REALLY pleased!

I also used a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter to get enough length on my socket to install this receiver. It is not a problem to add length or straight adapters when using a torque wrench (it specifies 65 ft-lbs, BTW); it is only a problem if you are using an extender bar that moves the pivoting point. That said, this was easy to install - it's just four bolts, you don't even need a jack or stands. You will most likely end up laying on the floor, so it's best to do this when you're wearing old clothes and about to take a shower anyway.

Anyway, who buys a receiver if they don't have any tools?

This fits so nice and tight that it gives you total confidence in its ability, just as you would expect. Surprisingly, rather than detracting from the looks, it actually looks cool on a black Corolla S.

I also noticed that you can get this receiver in different packages on different websites, but this seemed to be by far the best deal.

I gave it four stars because - despite insane amounts of packing tape - it had a few nicks in the paint upon arrival. These nicks cannot be seen once installed, but I used another car's touch-up paint on them just to keep the rust off. But I shouldn't have to.

HOLES IN MOUNTING BRACKETS DID NOT ALIGN WITH HOLES IN CAR FRAME. HAD TO PURCHASE A ROTARY RASP FOR MY DRILLMOTOR TO ELONGATE SLOTS IN ONE BRACKET TO ENABLE BRACKETS TO MATCH UP WITH CAR FRAME HOLES. 15 MINUTES TURNED INTO SEVERAL HOURS. VERY UPSET AT THE TIME BUT HAVE CALMED DOWN. RECEIVER IS VERY SOLID AND WELL BUILT. DON'T KNOW WHETHER CURT OR TOYOTA ARE AT FAULT?. CURT #11266 CLASS 1 RECEIVER.

I bought this as a spare remote for my Directed Electronics Python car alarm (I don't have remote start installed) installed back in 2008. This Viper remote looks very similar to my Python remote (other than the different names stamped on the top, the other obvious difference is that my Python remote is black while the Viper is dark blue). Both are Model 7701V and my local installer got the Viper to accept the programming. So make sure that the back of your remote has Model 7701V stamped on it.

Note: If you have two remotes and if the remote that you are not using is in range, it takes about 20 seconds for it to receive the lock/unlock status from the car.


Update April 9, 2011. After almost three years of use, one side of the plastic belt clip hinge broke. I contacted Directed and they sent me a replacement at no charge.

That is customer service!
