I also used a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter to get enough length on my socket to install this receiver. It is not a problem to add length or straight adapters when using a torque wrench (it specifies 65 ft-lbs, BTW); it is only a problem if you are using an extender bar that moves the pivoting point. That said, this was easy to install - it's just four bolts, you don't even need a jack or stands. You will most likely end up laying on the floor, so it's best to do this when you're wearing old clothes and about to take a shower anyway.
Anyway, who buys a receiver if they don't have any tools?
This fits so nice and tight that it gives you total confidence in its ability, just as you would expect. Surprisingly, rather than detracting from the looks, it actually looks cool on a black Corolla S.
I also noticed that you can get this receiver in different packages on different websites, but this seemed to be by far the best deal.
I gave it four stars because - despite insane amounts of packing tape - it had a few nicks in the paint upon arrival. These nicks cannot be seen once installed, but I used another car's touch-up paint on them just to keep the rust off. But I shouldn't have to.

This hitch bolted right up to my '09 Corolla. Just had to clean the threads out on the frame with some WD-40 and by working the bolts in and out a bit.

HOLES IN MOUNTING BRACKETS DID NOT ALIGN WITH HOLES IN CAR FRAME. HAD TO PURCHASE A ROTARY RASP FOR MY DRILLMOTOR TO ELONGATE SLOTS IN ONE BRACKET TO ENABLE BRACKETS TO MATCH UP WITH CAR FRAME HOLES. 15 MINUTES TURNED INTO SEVERAL HOURS. VERY UPSET AT THE TIME BUT HAVE CALMED DOWN. RECEIVER IS VERY SOLID AND WELL BUILT. DON'T KNOW WHETHER CURT OR TOYOTA ARE AT FAULT?. CURT #11266 CLASS 1 RECEIVER.
